Overview:
Time 4 Recruitment is seeking a Solar Energy Project Supervisor for a temporary position focused on solar energy projects.

Role Summary:
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading construction firm renowned for its success in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Solar Energy Project Supervisor, you will collaborate with a primary contractor specializing in renewable energy initiatives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing groundworks operations, which encompass bulk earthworks and trenching activities.

Given the nature of the work, candidates should be prepared for hands-on tasks and a physically demanding environment.

Essential Duties:
- Manage all operations related to M&E and groundworks.
- Ensure personnel safety and oversee daily work activities.
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors and maintain communication with the management team.
- Establish site and individual objectives while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Implement disciplinary actions and conduct annual reviews as necessary.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification
  • First Aid certification
  • CSCS card
  • Experience in solar farm operations is preferred
  • Knowledge of M&E systems is advantageous
  • Background in civil engineering, groundworks, and trenching
  • Supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office for creating reports and spreadsheets
