We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals in primary care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective consultation and liaison across primary and secondary care sectors
- Facilitate and improve access to appropriate services for individuals experiencing common mental health problems
- Conduct mental health screening assessments, risk assessments, and medication monitoring
- Provide telephone triage, signposting, and referral to other services
- Support, educate, and provide problem-solving advice to primary care teams
- Participate in audit and research activities to improve mental health services
- Develop and implement services to meet the mental health needs of users and carers in primary care
- Maintain and improve knowledge and skills based on best practice in mental health issues in primary care
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience working as a qualified nurse in mental health
- 6 months of community experience in mental health
- NMC RMN with active pin
- Ability to commute or relocate with an employer-provided relocation package
