Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role would ideally suit someone with previous experience of payroll processing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the payment process for hourly, weekly or monthly paid staff
  • Gather and verify employee information such as hours worked
  • Calculate accurate salaries, deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances, etc.
  • Generate payroll reports and produce P45s
  • Input data into the payroll system accurately
  • Process starter/leaver details and bank account information
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees
  • Contribute to general office administration tasks to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll processing
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency with payroll systems
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
