As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our inpatient mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient care needs and develop and evaluate programs of care in collaboration with patients, carers, and other professionals.
- Carry out all relevant forms of care in partnership with patients, carers, and other professionals, adhering to agreed standards and clinical policies.
- Take charge of the ward and supervise and teach junior staff, both qualified and unqualified, as well as mentor nurses undergoing basic or post-basic training.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a live NMC UK pin and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will also need to be able to practice within a legal and ethical framework, as defined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Professional Conduct, national mental health-related legislation, and national and local policy, guidelines, and protocols.
