Job Opportunity: Registered Mental Health Nurse

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a leading mental health hospital in Glasgow. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
  • Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care with patients and their carers/families, ensuring patient choice and wishes are respected.
  • Contribute to a team approach to patient care, working closely with all members of the care team.
  • Participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance, ensuring adherence to NMC standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
  • Experience of post-registration continuing professional development.
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
