Join the Medik8 Team as a Mechanical Technician Production Specialist
As a Mechanical Technician Production Specialist, you will be essential in ensuring the seamless functioning of our production lines within the Production team.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a range of technical and maintenance activities aimed at optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
This position is based onsite and follows a Monday to Friday shift pattern from 6am to 2.30pm.
Your role will involve:
- Production Line Setup: Prepare and configure production lines for operation, ensuring all machinery is correctly installed and ready for use.
- Equipment Adjustments: Make necessary modifications to machinery settings to uphold product quality and enhance production efficiency.
- Filling Machine Oversight: Conduct routine inspections and adjustments on filling machines to guarantee precise product filling.
- Weigh Scale Calibration: Regularly assess and calibrate weigh scales to ensure adherence to specified tolerances and standards.
- Parts Disassembly: Take apart components for cleaning as needed.
- Parts Reassembly: Reassemble cleaned components, ensuring they are correctly fitted and fully operational.
- Ink Printing Setup: Configure ink printing equipment for product labeling.
- Daily Maintenance Checks: Perform daily and visual maintenance inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Equipment Upkeep: Maintain production room equipment not included in the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Pump Preparation: Set up and purge pumps to ensure readiness for production use.
- Production Line Support: Assist in the effective and efficient operation of all production lines as needed, providing technical support and troubleshooting.
