Aerospace Assembly Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based in the UK.
The successful candidate will work a 37-hour week and report directly into the Production Manager. Key responsibilities include ensuring all products are built correctly, using engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely and quality-focused manner.
Occasional assembly, testing, and fault-finding on products will be required. Products are mostly electronic/electrical, with some mechanical components involved.
Requirements- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Technical engineering knowledge or experience
- A formal technical education
- Excellent electronic/electrical engineering skills, with mechanical knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with potting compounds is advantageous
- Able to maintain accurate and traceable records for all products
- Driven and reliable individual
