Position Overview:

As a CNC Milling Machine Setter, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 3 and 4 axis (X Y Z & A) milling machines to manufacture high-quality components that meet precise specifications.

You will interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production, with simplified drawings created in-house for ease of set-up.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Setting up jobs according to internal setting sheets for each task.
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to machines and production processes.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of CNC programming using FANUC controls.
  • Performing mechanical setup and operation of CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines for small batch runs.
  • Measuring machined parts and adjusting offsets to guarantee the accuracy of finished components.
