About the Role

Capita Health Assessment Advisory Service is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a vital role in conducting assessments and providing expert advice to support individuals with health conditions or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial reviews and assessments to evaluate the impact of a customer's health condition or disability on their daily life.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports detailing the evidence gathered for each claimant.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices in healthcare.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other) without restriction or conditions.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and dig deeper.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote access systems.
  • A valid driving license or access to a form of transport to attend consultation centers.
What We Offer
  • A competitive basic salary of £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus up to 5% training bonus.
  • 25 days' holiday (rising to 27 after 5 years) with the opportunity to buy extra leave (pro rata).
