About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work in the home of a service user, providing care and support to enable them to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, social support, and domestic support to the service user, adhering to their individual care and support plan.
  • Work without direct supervision, using your professional judgment to make decisions and take actions as needed.
  • Ensure the service user's right to privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide a high-quality, person-centered service.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, including medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
