External Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Sales Representative to join our client's busy sales team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join a well-established and respected company in the construction supplies sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in external sales, with a strong understanding of the builders merchants sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted sales efforts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive
Requirements
  • Proven experience in external sales, preferably in the builders merchants sector
  • Strong understanding of the construction supplies sector and its key players
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
