About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Sales Representative to join our team at GCS Associates. As an External Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the construction supplies and building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and developing new leads
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the construction supplies and building materials sector, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results-driven sales performance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
