Visual Effects Artist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team at RealtimeUK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects for our AAA console titles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and refine visual effects based on client and studio briefs.
  2. Create and optimize materials and shaders to support your FX work.
  3. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration of FX into our projects.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in UE5, particularly the material editor.
  2. Experience with Blueprints in UE5.
  3. Knowledge of at least one program for creating maps and textures, such as Photoshop or Substance Suite.
  4. Experience with Niagara.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
  1. A strong portfolio showcasing your visual effects work.
  2. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow briefs.
  3. Experience with Source Control Environments, such as Perforce.
  4. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under deadline pressure.
  5. Self-motivated and disciplined, with a willingness to learn new techniques and software.
