Parts Supervisor Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parts Supervisor to join our team at Scania GB. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the parts department, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of parts to customers and workshops.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, both internal and external, to deliver excellent customer service.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve stock management, reduce stock discrepancies, and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded, and to maximize sales potential through effective selling techniques and up-to-date parts knowledge.
- Work closely with the workshop team to understand their needs and ensure that parts are delivered in a timely manner to meet service requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure, think critically, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
