As a Lead Critical Care Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Offering clinical guidance and mentorship to junior nursing staff.
  • Overseeing complex patient care as a bedside nurse.
  • Leading the six-bedded critical care unit in the absence of senior nursing staff.
  • Managing a diverse range of specialties, including Colorectal, Gynaecology, Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Neuro & Spinal, and Acute Medicine.
  • Maintaining clinical skills by working across various locations.

The ideal candidate for the Lead Critical Care Nurse role will possess:
  • Registered General Nurse status with an active NMC pin.
  • Extensive experience in Critical Care settings.
  • Specific skills and experience related to ITU.
  • Completion of a Critical Care Course (60 Credits).
