About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled CDM Principal Designer to join our team at Ecruit. As a leading construction consultancy, we are committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients, and we need a dedicated professional to help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Principal Designer, overseeing and coordinating the pre-construction phase and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Engage with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure that all designs comply with health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide advice to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Regularly attend site visits and coordinate safety measures across multiple projects.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a CDM Principal Designer.
  • Current membership of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS minimum; CMaPS preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Flexibility for travel and overnight stays when required.
  • A full, clean UK Driving Licence.
