Job Description:
The company, a leading distributor of luxury brands and services, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Provide exceptional continued account management to the current client base, including independent jewellers, salons, spas, and pharmacies.
- New Business Development: Attract, onboard, and bring on new business to drive revenue growth.
- Sales Calls and Meetings: Conduct regular sales calls and meetings with clients to review accounts, identify upsell opportunities, and provide product demonstrations.
- Target Achievement: Work towards achieving sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Trade Shows and Networking: Attend trade shows and networking events to promote the company's brands and services.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous retail management, territory sales, area management, field sales, or area sales experience within the luxury, gift, watch, or associated fields.
- Sales and Account Management: Strong sales and account management experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Network: A network within the luxury, beauty, jewellery, or associated fields.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Location: Based in the Southeast of England, with a willingness to travel to different customers and accounts in the region.
- Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
- Availability: Able to commit to overnight stays and attend weekend trade shows and networking events when required.
What We Offer:
- Base Salary: £40,000 per annum.
