Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction cost management, with experience in feasibility studies, cost planning, and procurement. You will be responsible for assisting in the development of project budgets, estimating costs, and managing post-contract cost variances.
We are looking for a collaborative and proactive individual who can work effectively with our clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of project budgets and cost plans
- Estimate costs and manage post-contract cost variances
- Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract administration
- Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure project delivery
- Provide cost management advice and guidance to project teams
- Prepare and present cost reports to clients and stakeholders
- Professional qualification in quantity surveying or a related field
- Strong background in construction cost management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
