About the Role
The NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our Children's Services Directorate as the Deputy Director for Essex Children's Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Service Director and other key stakeholders to develop and transform Children and Young People's Mental Health Services and Children's Services in Essex.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the ICB and system partners to support the Trust's vision in developing and transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Services and Children's Services.
- Liaise with partner agencies in MSE to ensure the best possible system of care is provided through creative partnerships with patients, carers, and staff.
- Focus on the clinical model, quality, and safety of the services provided.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and quality of services.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and operational colleagues to achieve the Trust's objectives.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience of working at a senior level.
- Ability to work in partnership with senior clinicians and other key professionals.
- Knowledge of CQC compliance requirements.
- Understanding of commissioning and its impact on providers.
- Dynamic and supportive leadership and management style.
