About the Role

The NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our Children's Services Directorate as the Deputy Director for Essex Children's Services. Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the ICB and system partners to support the Trust's vision in developing and transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Services and Children's Services.
  • Liaise with partner agencies in MSE to ensure the best possible system of care is provided through creative partnerships with patients, carers, and staff.
  • Focus on the clinical model, quality, and safety of the services provided.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and quality of services.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and operational colleagues to achieve the Trust's objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience of working at a senior level.
  • Ability to work in partnership with senior clinicians and other key professionals.
  • Knowledge of CQC compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of commissioning and its impact on providers.
  • Dynamic and supportive leadership and management style.
