About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our Creative team at Costello Medical. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing materials, including infographics, posters, event materials, and other design pieces for both internal teams and external clients.

You will work closely with creative colleagues and project managers to determine the design scope, purpose, and strategic approach to be taken. Your exceptional organisational and time management skills, combined with your ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritise tasks effectively, will be essential in delivering high-quality project deliverables.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing engaging content that meets the needs of our clients and internal teams
  • Collaborating with creative colleagues and project managers to determine design scope and approach
  • Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality
  • Providing outstanding customer service and building strong partnerships with internal teams and external clients

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and previous experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a discretionary profit share bonus, 25 days' annual leave, and flexible working arrangements.

As a Graphic Designer at Costello Medical, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of creative projects, from initial concept development to full production. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with a talented team of designers, project managers, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

About You

We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who can contribute innovative ideas to enhance our creative service offerings. You will have a great understanding of aesthetics and a meticulous attention to detail. You will also take pride in delivering a consistently exceptional service to both clients and colleagues within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This role requires a problem-solving mindset, strong analytical skills, as well as an enthusiasm for learning new technologies to produce high-quality project deliverables. Exceptional organisation and self-motivation, along with the ability to proactively identify innovative solutions, are essential.

Essential requirements for the role are:

  • A degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio
  • Some professional experience within an agency or commercial setting
  • Extensive experience using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, as well as familiarity with other software in the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • A proven ability to generate, execute, and oversee a variety of creative concepts
  • A problem-solving mindset, and the ability to think outside the box
  • Confidence in presenting work to a wide range of audiences, including internal colleagues and external clients
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, a high level of productivity, and the flexibility to adapt to changing deadlines
  • An ability to manage conflicting demands, prioritising tasks effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build robust and sustainable working relationships
