We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Space Planner to join our Property department at STARK Building Materials UK. As a Space Planner, you will play a crucial role in delivering a diverse range of new and refurbishment branches across our portfolio of approximately 600 branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys to gather information for space planning purposes.
  • Design and develop floor plans for new branches, retrofits, and format updates.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate with branch operations teams to achieve project targets.
  • Develop and implement space planning criteria for each site.
  • Work closely with project teams to contribute to design development opportunities.
  • Adhere to STARK Group company values.
  • Verify external construction design details meet the brief.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with 3D software is preferred.
  • Space planning software expertise.
  • Background in a merchant or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
