Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of merchandise flow, visual presentation, and sales standards throughout the store and stockroom. This role requires adaptability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Presentation and Sales Floor
    • Maintain a visually appealing store environment, including merchandise displays and visual merchandising.
    • Ensure sales floor is stocked and replenished regularly.
  • Stockroom
    • Receive and process merchandise shipments, including unpacking, stocking, and organizing inventory.
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless store operations.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to store initiatives.
  • Asset Protection and Shrink
    • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential security risks.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures to prevent shrinkage and protect company assets.
  • Policies and Procedures
    • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Training and Development
    • Participate in on-the-job training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
    • Seek feedback and coaching from management to improve performance.
