Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of merchandise flow, filling, and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroom. This role requires adaptability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Presentation and Sales Floor
    • Maintain a visually appealing store environment, including merchandise displays and visual merchandising.
    • Ensure sales floor is well-stocked and merchandise is properly rotated.
  • Stockroom
    • Receive and process merchandise shipments, including unpacking, counting, and stocking.
    • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient stockroom environment.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with store management, colleagues, and customers.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  • Asset Protection and Shrink
    • Monitor and report any inventory discrepancies or potential security risks.
    • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Policies and Procedures
    • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to sales, customer service, and inventory management.
    • Participate in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Training and Development
    • Participate in on-the-job training and coaching to develop skills and knowledge.
    • Attend training sessions and workshops to improve performance and contribute to the team's success.
