Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Housekeeping Assistants to ensure that our residential care home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Housekeeping Assistants to achieve high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the home is maintained to a high standard
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the home, including resident rooms, communal areas, and laundry facilities
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and stored properly
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the home is maintained to a high standard, including maintenance and repairs
• Provide training and support to Housekeeping Assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

Requirements

• Previous experience of leading a team in a cleaning or housekeeping role
• Knowledge of infection control and cleaning procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents
• Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of NVQ / QCF Level 2 in Catering and Housekeeping or equivalent
