The UK Lead for Asset Management plays a crucial role within the Amazon UK Services Ltd. team. This position is centered on managing the real estate portfolio across the UK and Ireland, with a specific focus on logistics properties and parking facilities.

This role reports to the EMEA Head of Asset Management and requires regular travel within the UK, Ireland, and other European locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of logistics properties and parking facilities in the UK and Ireland.
  • Deliver strategic real estate insights to senior management.
  • Handle lease negotiations, portfolio enhancement, and risk assessment.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for lease-related issues.
  • Build and sustain relationships with property owners and external partners.
  • Ensure precise reporting and management of significant lease events.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.
  • Encourage a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Support the professional development and career advancement of team members.
  • Provide input for budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Engage in international travel for meetings and training sessions.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or a related discipline is required. An advanced degree or professional certifications are advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in asset management, particularly within the real estate sector.

Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA from a recognized institution.
  • Membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to foster successful partnerships and strategic initiatives.
  • Exemplary negotiation skills.
