Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Children's Therapy Team as a Therapy Assistant. You will work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and therapy assistants to provide therapy for children and young people in various settings, including hospitals and the community.

Main Duties

As a Therapy Assistant, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team to manage patient caseloads, complete joint assessments, and document patient records. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and work flexibly.

Person Specification
  • 2 GCSEs grade 'C' or above, or equivalent, including English language and Maths
  • IT skills
  • Commitment to work towards completion of the Advanced Senior Health Care Support Worker Apprenticeship over 27 months

  • Nationally recognised training course(s) relevant to post
