Job Title: Senior Accountant (Pensions & Treasury)

Location: Remote

Salary: £357.60 per day PAYE or £450 per day Limited paid via Umbrella company inside IR35

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Pensions & Treasury) to support the Head of Pensions and Treasury in the provision of accounting and reporting services for the authority's pension fund and treasury management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Council's day-to-day pension fund and treasury management activities, including daily cashflow management.
• Provide the necessary instructions and information to treasury advisors and pension fund service providers, including the fund's investment and actuarial advisors.
• Prepare pension fund annual accounts and treasury management notes to the Council's statement of accounts.
• Assist in the provision of accounting and reporting services for the authority's pension fund and treasury management functions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Experience in pension fund accounting and treasury management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
