Head of Procurement

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead our tactical procurement workstream. Reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process enhancements to drive efficiency and productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Chief Procurement Officer to develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
  • Lead the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) measures to evaluate the success of the tactical procurement workstream.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to identify opportunities for enhancing customer product fulfillment and drive process improvements.
  • Develop a clear roadmap to position Procurement as a key stakeholder in non-inventory-related decisions, outlining the rationale and benefits of this expanded role.
  • Lead global process changes that impact multiple stakeholders, driving efficiency and alignment across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a complex procurement environment, preferably within the aerospace industry and ideally with exposure to the fastener supply chain.
  • Proven ability to navigate and manage sensitive supply chains with a strong sense of commercial impact.
  • Successful track record of leading multi-cultural global teams, fostering collaboration and performance across diverse regions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manipulate and interpret data to inform decisions.
