The School Effectiveness Team at Devon County Council is on the lookout for a dedicated Education Advisor to enhance our team during this pivotal phase of growth and opportunity.
In this role, you will collaborate with a robust and skilled team, working in unison across various services. This collaboration includes engaging with colleagues from specialized teams and external partners to ensure that schools in Devon receive exceptional and coordinated support, ultimately leading to a positive impact on the educational experiences of all students.
Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong professional relationships within your designated group of schools and with your colleagues. You will gather and manage critical intelligence regarding these schools, assess their performance risks, and identify areas of vulnerability. This information will enable you to implement a tailored program of support and challenge, aimed at enhancing educational provision and outcomes for children.
Additionally, our team provides a traded package for schools both within and beyond Devon. You will leverage your extensive expertise to help shape and deliver this offering. A proven record of recent, relevant experience in school improvement advisory work is essential for this position, as is a strong history of effective school leadership.
