Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Equipment Operator to join our team at MEM Recruitment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plant machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products within the Food Safety and Quality system.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained and adhered to at all times.
- Understand production processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Diagnose and report faults on plant machinery and equipment.
- Work to daily production targets and maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
- Complete mill maintenance to schedule and perform pre-start HACCP checks.
- Notify line managers of any potential Health & Safety issues.
Requirements:
- Reliable and target-driven individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a process environment is advantageous.
- Ability to solve problems using own initiative and seek support when required.
- Physically fit and capable of working across multiple floors and at height.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be required to work a 4 on/4 off rotational days and nights shift pattern.
