Mobile Maintenance Technician

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Chichester.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and managing risks to the client through equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Utilizing new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment, liaising with clients on requests for certain machinery PPMs.
- Providing Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance Department, working on Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead Cranes.
- Writing and following Risk Assessments, and being available to question any issues that arise from them safely and accurately.
- Working on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves encompassing Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Systems.
- Using Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System.
- Liaising with onsite Site Services to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
- Deputizing the Shift Leader during annual leave or sickness, and working overtime as and when the business requires, including nights and weekends.
- Requiring strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance, Electrical Competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition, and Mechanical Competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical.
- Having good multi-skilled ability, PLC Diagnostics/Repair Competencies, NVQ Qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical, and the ability to supervise contractors.
- Being able to write Risk and Method Statements, and holding IPAF qualifications.
- Having experience of Heavy Engineering.
