Recognized for our excellence in ferry services, mobilization and demobilization projects, jack-ups, pontoons, tankers, and MoD defense vessels, A&P Group operates a bustling port, managing over 100,000 tonnes of product annually.

Your Responsibilities:

As our Senior Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in supervising all financial operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while providing financial insights to foster business expansion and profitability.

  • Prepare timely and precise monthly management accounts and year-end audited financial statements, reporting on profit and loss, key performance indicators, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against budgets, generating and reviewing financial reports while offering insights and recommendations for operational enhancements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including profit & loss and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining meticulous financial records.

Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification or higher.
  • Prior experience in a comparable role within a dynamic finance environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with key accounting systems such as Sage is advantageous.
