TPF Recruitment is seeking a Private Client Tax Director for a leading chartered accountancy firm in Kent.

Your Role

As a Private Client Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized tax and advisory services to a diverse clientele. This includes:

  • Directors of owner-managed businesses
  • Property clients
  • High-net-worth individuals
  • Clients in financial services and private equity

You will lead a team of experienced tax professionals, driving the development of private client tax services within this renowned firm. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing expert guidance on a wide range of personal tax matters, including Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), trusts, and estates.
  • Cultivating strong client relationships and exceeding their expectations.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the firm's private client portfolio.
  • Contributing to the growth and success of the Kent office's private client division.
Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, or STEP.
  • Proven experience at a senior level within Private Client Tax.
  • Exceptional client handling skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • A strong track record of delivering high-quality tax advice on complex UK private client matters.
  • Experience gained in a reputable practice, preferably within a Top 100 or large independent firm.
