Cost Control Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Cost & Commercial team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our high-profile aviation project in west London.
Main Responsibilities:
- Commercial Management: Manage contract commercial and cost activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Procurement Support: Provide expert support to the procurement process, ensuring best value is achieved through effective negotiation and supplier selection.
- Commercial Advice: Offer guidance on commercial matters, including contract administration, dispute resolution, and claim management.
- Post-Contract Commercial Activities: Manage post-contract commercial activities, including final account settlement, variations, and claims.
- Cost Control: Develop and implement cost control strategies, ensuring project costs are accurately forecasted and managed.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the Cost & Commercial team, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Client Processes: Adhere to client processes and working practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Commercial Experience: Proven experience in commercial management, procurement support, negotiation, and contract administration.
- NEC Environment: Experience working in an NEC environment, with a strong understanding of NEC contracts and procedures.
