Job Summary:

Staffbase Recruitment is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of automated machinery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PLC programming and software controls for robotic machinery
  • Upgrade and modify existing control systems to meet specifications
  • Assist with on-site installations and commissioning of automated machinery
  • Provide technical support to customers and field engineers
  • Participate in project work as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent PLC programming skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of robotic machinery
  • Experience with KUKA controls is beneficial
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role
  • Recognized electrical engineering qualification
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home on a frequent basis
