Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Out of Hours team in South Cumbria on a bank basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Main Duties
  • Work as a member of the clinical team, providing autonomous decision-making and clinical leadership.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with undifferentiated presentations, using professional judgment and expertise.
  • Initiate treatment, investigations, and advice, and manage problems using evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, using clear and concise language.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a high-quality, innovative service to the community, through the implementation of evidence-based clinical practice.

Person Specification
  • Significant post-registration experience (minimum 3 years) in a relevant field, with evidence of autonomous practice and leadership skills.
  • 1st Level professional registration, with a graduate degree and non-medical prescribing qualification.
  • Advanced clinical examination and history-taking qualification, with evidence of recent Continual Professional Development.
