Salary: £34,640. (Shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

Role Overview:

As a Slinger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and operational standards while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Verifying that all equipment and accessories are in safe, usable condition and compliant with testing regulations.
  • Conducting all work in accordance with relevant site regulations, including LOLER and PUWER standards.
  • Completing necessary administrative tasks, including risk assessments and lift plans, in collaboration with your team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Possession of NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Certification in CPCS/NPORS or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with LOLER, PUWER, and BS7121 standards.
  • Experience in lifting operations within maritime and facilities environments, including the use of various lifting equipment.
