Job Overview

WA Consultants is seeking a dedicated Financial Operations Coordinator to join a dynamic retail-focused organization on a permanent basis.

Compensation: £22,308, increasing to £23,308 upon successful completion of the initial probationary period.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Work Environment: Onsite in Rochester, with no options for remote work.

ROLE SUMMARY

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the finance department in the processing of sales and purchase invoices.
  • Support the finance team in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
  • Issue authorized invoices for payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processing of sales invoices and gather all necessary documentation for client submission.
  • Generate Sub-Contractor CIS remittances along with the required journal entries.
  • Handle supplier invoice processing.
  • Address any invoice discrepancies with the appropriate personnel or suppliers.
  • Timely processing of employee expense claims.
  • Onboard new suppliers into the system.
  • Assist with weekly payment processing.
  • Maintain general filing and documentation.
  • Provide overall finance administrative support as needed.

Reporting Structure:

  • Directly reports to the Company Accountant.
