Location: Aberdeen
Bilfinger UK stands as a premier engineering and maintenance service provider, catering to a diverse clientele across sectors such as chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage. In collaboration with Global E&C, Bilfinger UK initiated a joint venture, Torus BGP, to deliver a comprehensive suite of integrated services across CNRI's Ninian Central, Ninian South, and Tiffany North Sea assets. We operate under a unified operational philosophy, offering an extensive array of services that include Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Lifting, Inspection, Access, Deck Management, and Fabric Maintenance. This position is part of our Operations & Maintenance service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the update of operational schedules.
- Oversee activities of subcontractors and third parties for required tasks.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentation materials.
- Coordinate with the Bilfinger ANDT Team for new work scopes, including equipment identification.
- Provide assistance to the Inspection Project Manager, Project Planner, and Engineer as needed.
- Cover for the Project Planner and Project Engineer when necessary.
- Help compile and deliver planning data, including updates to planning software.
- Gather equipment orders for new scopes of work.
- Manage plant, material, and equipment orders, maintaining material trackers and overseeing shipping logistics.
- Review plant maintenance reports to ensure alignment with actual offshore data.
- Communicate with stores and shipping departments to ensure timely equipment issuance.
- Verify that customer purchase orders are established prior to work commencement.
- Review and approve weekly working hours, ensuring accuracy in hours and coding in accordance with contracts.
- Ensure the accuracy of invoicing data for labor and plant before submission to clients, assisting with any queries as needed.
- Monitor purchase order costs to prevent overruns, submitting amended CTRs as necessary.
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts.
- Ensure timely receipt of equipment checks, inspection reports, HSE reports, and all relevant documentation from offshore operations.
- Address PAYE wage inquiries.
- Approve employee expense claims.
- Manage and approve offshore holiday requests.
Qualifications & Experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an offshore oil and gas environment.
• At least 2 years of experience related to in-service inspection is preferred.
• A working knowledge of British, European, and International Standards concerning Safety, Environment, and Quality is desirable.
• Proficient understanding of SAP or similar systems.
This role is integral to our operations, contributing to the overall success of our projects and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
