Senior Business Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Financial Controller to join our client's dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Financial Policy Development: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Financial Insights: Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
  5. Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
  7. Financial Process Optimization: Utilise accounting software to streamline financial processes.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CGMA/CPA
  2. Financial Management: Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  3. Experience: 3 years auditing experience within large businesses
  4. US GAAP and SOX: Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
  5. Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software (SAP and OneStream) is essential.
  6. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  8. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
