FX eTrading Engineering Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled FX eTrading Engineering professional to lead our FX eTrading Engineering team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, and will be responsible for defining and implementing solutions that benefit the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions that benefit the business.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, and ensure that systems are designed and implemented to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Manage budget and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and present regular team and project reviews to senior management and business leaders.
  • Drive the design and development of system architecture, and enhance the quality of deliverables.
  • Ensure that staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures, and maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation for filings.
  • Lead and deliver local staff forums, and present global, regional, and location news and updates to engage team in the progress of the organization.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department, and ensure transparency and consistency across teams.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven understanding of FX eTrading technology and experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to develop a team that is seen as the engineering role model for the organization.
  • Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems.
  • Strong systems (software, hardware, networks) knowledge required to define solutions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Exceptional communicator who loves working with people, confident communicating at all levels from an individual team to the entire enterprise.
  • Highly credible hands-on engineer, confident to deep dive into a product and codebase and offer detailed, constructive analysis and feedback.
  • Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate.
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams.
