We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Housing Team Leader. As a key member of our Housing Options service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of our services.
Key Duties:- Work closely with our Housing Options team to maximize occupancy and support vulnerable clients into our hostel provision.
- Collaborate with the Supported Tenancies team and other non-commissioned services to facilitate sideways moves where appropriate.
- Provide dual-function housing-related support and intensive housing management to service users.
- Offer practical and emotional support to assist service users in developing life skills and transitioning into independent accommodation.
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of all services, promoting good practice and adhering to policies and procedures.
- Participate in the rota, working flexibly to cover holidays, sickness, and bank holidays, and occasionally covering for colleagues at short notice.
- Manage the Homes4Life service, line-managing the Supported Housing Officer team and providing support to service users in their absence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and cover a range of shifts.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
