Experienced Home Claims Handler

We are seeking an experienced Home Claims Handler to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Home Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of home claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of home claims, ensuring that they are handled within agreed timescales and to a high standard of quality.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with other teams, including underwriting and claims management, to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and report any potential issues or concerns, and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and implement changes as necessary to ensure that our claims handling processes are aligned with industry standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in home claims handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
- Knowledge of home insurance products and claims handling processes, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
