Reliability Maintenance Engineering Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our RME team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  2. Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  3. Utilize the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and contribute to the development of best practices across the organization.
  4. Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and practices, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  5. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
  6. Collaborate on continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and implement best practices across multiple EU sites.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A served Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, preferred qualifications include:

  • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring
  • Experience working with print and apply machines
  • Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems
