Job Summary:

Gregory Group is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, interacting with customers, and maintaining regular contact with the transport team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintaining regular contact with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Attending regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience with fridge trailers is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player with good geographical knowledge.
  • Fitness, flexibility, hard work, and self-motivation are essential for this role.
