Data Centre Shift Manager

Trevett Project Services is seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Shift Manager to oversee the technical operations of our critical data centre contracts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers across multiple disciplines, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new contract, develop your career, and be part of a business that values career growth and development. As a Data Centre Shift Manager, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate a team of shift engineers across multiple disciplines, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements. This includes providing emergency response and responding to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent within the SLA.
  • Contract Mobilisation: Support contract mobilisation, including implementation of QHSE and risk management processes and procedures, development and testing of operational procedures, and onboarding and training of engineering staff.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience managing a team of engineers on a shift basis, with a strong background in electrical and critical systems.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions. Strong knowledge of electrical and critical systems, with a current or previous HV ticket and be fully electrically qualified.
  • Client Liaison: Experience with client liaison and hands-on/hands-off management, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
