Position Overview

Advance TRS is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team. This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Cost Estimator and manage several significant accounts within a major project.

Key Duties Include:

  • Preparation of applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliations.
  • Monitoring and forecasting costs, while compiling data for monthly reports covering value, expenses, profit/loss, and cash flow.
  • Management of the supply chain.
  • Assisting in Risk and Value Management to enhance solutions and conducting regular reviews with the project team.
  • Overseeing Contract Management, including all pertinent contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and relevant software tools.
  • Supporting the preparation of subcontract inquiries, negotiating, and establishing contracts.
  • Maintaining up-to-date notifications and documentation.
  • Identifying and reporting safety risk situations to site management.
  • Engaging in ongoing communication with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Providing contractual guidance to the site team as necessary.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • ARICS accreditation or currently pursuing APC.
  • Experience with a primary contractor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Water (Non-Infrastructure) sector.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts.
  • Knowledge of CEMAR software.
