The Division:

The Integrated Components and Solutions team in the UK offers thrilling engineering positions focused on the integration of electronic control systems into various Caterpillar products. By utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Caterpillar maintains its competitive advantage by delivering exceptional performance and value to its customers.

Role Responsibilities:

As a member of the team, you will play a vital role in the development of Electromechanical Control Systems to tackle challenges faced by Caterpillar clients. Responsibilities for various positions may include:

  • Collecting customer requirements and defining technical specifications
  • Designing electrical system architectures
  • Creating control algorithms and implementing software
  • Testing electronic features using simulation and test benches
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system issues
  • Participating in safety and compliance evaluations

Essential Qualifications:

A solid technical foundation in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems, or automotive engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with off-highway machine control systems or comparable vehicle control systems
