Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Catch-up and Feedback: Conduct regular catch-ups and provide feedback and training to team members to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.

- Debt Collection: Monitor the ageing report and ensure that debts are collected in a timely manner, minimizing the risk of bad debt.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance and sales, to ensure timely collection of payments and assess any risks attached.
- Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely closing of the month-end financial reports.
- Reconciliation: Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Customer Service: Handle escalated inquiries and disputes regarding invoices and payments in a professional and timely manner.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department and other departments, and lead initiatives to implement changes.
- Credit Management: Enforce credit policies and procedures, and conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to assess creditworthiness.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits related to accounts receivable and revenue recognition.
- Corrective Action: Address audit recommendations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Procedure Development: Create SOPs and contingency plans for any new procedure.
- Special Projects: Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
- Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior management.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in an AR Supervisory/Management role in the hospitality/hotel sector.
- Attitude: A great attitude with a willingness to learn and make a positive impact.
- Leadership: Someone who enjoys managing a team and developing those around them.
- Ambition: Someone who is ambitious and wants to develop their career in luxury hospitality.
- Finance Expertise: Someone who is a finance expert with excellent communication skills.
