We are seeking dedicated, professional, and detail-oriented part-time Healthcare Administrative Assistants to become part of our esteemed team at Overton Park Surgery. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and excel in a dynamic work environment.

Work Schedule:

Part-time positions available: 24 hours per week and 16 hours per week (specific shifts may vary)

16-hour role:

Tuesday 14:30 - 18:30

Wednesday 08:30 - 12:30

Thursday 08:30 - 12:30

Friday 14:30 - 18:30

24-hour role:

Monday 12:30 - 18:30

Tuesday 14:30 - 18:30

Wednesday 08:30 - 12:30

Thursday 14:30 - 18:30

Friday 08:30 - 14:30 / 12:30 - 18:30 (alternating)

Flexibility is crucial as the positions may require occasional weekend shifts (Saturdays and evenings) and additional hours for covering holidays and other absences, which may lead to changes in the above schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

- Welcoming patients upon arrival and assisting with inquiries and check-in processes.

- Managing incoming calls to address patient queries and facilitate appointment scheduling.

- Handling email correspondence and online inquiries.

- Processing medication requests.

- Performing daily administrative tasks.
